Flour paint Maalri is a Swedish boiled paint for wood surfaces intended for external use. The paint consists of natural binders (vegetable oil varnish and flour) and pigments and is water-based.
This makes it safe both during and after the painting. This paint is very environment-friendly.
The paint is suitable for old and new sawn surfaces, such as wooden facades and fences, as well as other wooden constructions.
The paint may also be used to freshen up surfaces that have previously been coated with flour paint.
Weatherproof flour paint does not crack or flake, instead it wears away gradually over time. The most important factor that affects the paint coating is humidity migrating in the wood. Due to its breathable surface, flour paint does not prevent wood from becoming wet, while still allowing it to dry.
