Varnish boiled of linseed is intended to be used as a priming coat on wood, concrete and plastered surfaces both indoors and outdoors, as an additive for boiled paint, and for preparing and diluting oil paints and putties.

Linseed oil varnish is not suitable as an independent exterior coating without the use of preservatives.
